ERIC STEWART
(vocals/lead guitar/piano) was born in Manchester on 20 January, 1945. He started his career in music with Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders and became their lead singer after Wayne's departure to follow a solo career. When The Mindbenders broke up in 1968, he established Strawberry Recording Studios in Stockport with Peter Tattersall and subsequently Graham Gouldman and the Kennedy Street group of companies. Eric Stewart was a member, with Lol Creme and Kevin Godley, of the original Hotlegs band and the addition of Graham Gouldman for a 1970 British Tour laid the foundations for 10cc, which subsequently formed in 1972. With Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart has written the majority of 10cc's many international successes, including I'm Not In Love, Art For Art's Sake, Good Morning Judge, Dreadlock Holiday, Wall Street Shuffle and The Things We Do For Love.
To date he has released three albums outside of his work with 10cc, Girls (POLD 5032), which is the soundtrack album for the 1980 Just Jaeckin movie of the same name, and two solo albums. Frooty Rooties (MERS 9) was released to the world in September 1982 and Do Not Bend (STRSCD20031/2) saw the light of day in April 2003. He is currently working on his next album.

GRAHAM GOULDMAN
(vocals/bass guitar) was born in Manchester on 10 May 1946. During the mid-60's he wrote a succession of hit songs including For You Love, Evil Hearted You and Heart Full Of Soul for the Yardbirds; Look Through Any Window and Bus Stop for The Hollies
and No Milk Today for Herman's Hermits. All of these were Top Ten singles. He met Eric Stewart just before The Mindbenders broke up in 1968 and since then, they have worked together as founder-members of 10cc, as partners of Strawberry Studios and of course, as outstandingly talented and successful writers. Some of the songs which Eric and Graham have written together include The Things We Do For Love, Art For Art's Sake, The Wall Street Shuffle, I'm Not In Love and Good Morning Judge.
Graham has enjoyed some success working with Andrew Gold in Wax, having international hits with Bridge To Your Heart and Right Between The Eyes. He toured in 2002 with Rick Fenn and Paul Burgess celebrating 30 years of 10cc.
Away from 10cc and Wax, Graham has had 3 albums released. Back in the 60's, he put out an album entitled The Graham Gouldman Thing (RCA LPM/LPS 3954). He followed this up in 2000 with And Another Thing... (FYL CD 14). In 1980 he recorded a soundtrack album for a full-length cartoon film called Animalympics (Mercury 9109 630)
In 2002 he toured the UK with Rick Fenn, Paul Burgess, Mike Stevens and Mick Wilson, and they have just completed a tour of Australia

KEVIN GODLEY
(drums/vocals) was born in Manchester on October 17th, 1945, and began his musical career on bass with a band called Group 17, at the age of eleven. After a period with Lol Creme in The Sabres, Kevin left to join Graham Gouldman, following the break-up of The Whirlwinds. Together they formed The Mockingbirds and cut a single, For Your Love, which made no impression; later, The Yardbirds covered it and got a hit. With the Mockingbirds failing to emulate the success of Graham's songs, Kevin decided that gigging and studying at Ashton College of Art was too strenuous a combination and quit the group. Passing on to Stoke College of Art, he maintained contact with Lol, collaborating on a number of musical projects, plus ventures in film and graphic design.
Kevin and Lol left 10cc in the mid 70's to pursue a (joint) solo career starting off with a three LP set called Consequences (Mercury CONS 17) which demonstrated the talents of the Gizmo, a device they had been working with. Further albums and hit singles followed such as Cry, Under Your Thumb and An Englishman In New York. A brief reunion with Eric and Graham took place with the 1992 10cc album ...meanwhile which featured Kevin singing lead vocals on The Stars Didn't Show.

LOL CREME
(guitar/keyboards/vocals), was a session musician before Hotlegs. Lol was born in Manchester on September 17th, 1947, and acquired his first guitar at the age of twelve. In his own words, he became "totally engrossed" and missed no chance to play with other people, including Bo Diddley on one occasion; even so he remembers that his ideal was to be a quiet, hidden figure in the recording studio, writing and producing records rather than touring.
One of the groups Lol temporarily joined at this time was The Sabres, where he met Kevin Godley. Lol began writing songs with The Sabres but, although another local band called The Whirlwinds used a Creme composition for the B-side of their first single, there wasn't enough money to live on and Lol enrolled at art college, first at Ashton and later in Birmingham where he studied cartoon animation.
He kept contact with Kevin and eventually the two encountered Graham Gouldman (who'd played bass with the Whirlwinds) and Eric Stewart who were setting up Strawberry Studios. This meeting was the germination of 10cc. Lol left 10cc in 1976 with Kevin and went on to record several albums together including Consequences (Mercury CONS 17), Ismism (POLD 5043), L (Mercury 9109 611) and Birds Of Prey (POLD 5070).
